Sustainability

Van Menxel wants a pleasant, liveable world for current and future generations. That’s why we pay a lot of attention to increasing the sustainability of our operations and services. These are our current sustainability facts:

• We work exclusively with vegan products.
• We only work with clients whose values align with ours or do not conflict with ours.
• We bank with a sustainable bank.
• Our office is equipped with solar panels.
• Our administration and services are paper-free, except for the occasional scrap of paper.
• We use our stuff until it is completely used up and buy new stuff as little as possible.
• We reduce the power consumption of our websites by optimising the respective data. Less data means less storage, transport and processing, and therefore less power consumption. Minimising data also provides faster loading times.

Our websites are currently hosted on Netlify, which runs on Amazon’s AWS. This is not a sustainable solution. As we continue to grow, we will switch to a more sustainable alternative. Do you have any suggestions on how we can approach this? Let us know.
